What pleases us most are the owners and yards who keep us on for the next cycle, and the horses kept sound and settled for years. That is the sign that care and craft are worth something.
We balance each horse to its work. The hoof, the horse and the job all matter. We trim, shoe and advise on what suits the horse, honestly and without fuss.
We work by hand. Reading the hoof, trimming and balancing, making and fitting the shoe at the forge, hot or cold, step by step, calmly. It is skilled, physical work, and doing it quietly around the horse is part of the craft.
